✨ Let the AI do the bid
One line is plenty — sizes help (sq ft, rooms, feet of fence).
| Item | Qty | Unit $ | Package | Line total | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

GOOD — Core items$0.00
BETTER — Core + Plus$0.00
BEST — everything$0.00
Sheet sums, before discount & tax — final package prices are worked out below.

Edit the sheet like a spreadsheet — tap a cell, type, and every total keeps up. Package tags build your three prices: Core items are in every package · Plus items join in Better and Best · Premium items are Best only. One bid, three yeses.
Discount & tax — both optional.
Send the bid
This builds itself while you type. Copy it into an email or message, print a clean copy — or make the customer link and let them approve on a page built for saying yes.
The link opens a clean page with your three packages — the bid travels inside the link itself, nothing is uploaded. Your customer picks a package, taps Approve, and the yes comes back to you as a text or email. BidBook itself sends nothing and takes no payments.

How BidBook works — 2 steps
- Describe the job and let the AI build the bid — type what the job is (“tear off and replace a 1,800 sq ft shingle roof”) and BidBook's on-device bid builder writes the line items with quantities and prices on an Excel-style sheet, tagged Core, Plus or Premium so Good, Better and Best price themselves as you edit. Or skip the description and fill the sheet in by hand.
- Send the customer link — they pick a package, tap Approve, and the yes comes back to you.
Each line item on the sheet carries a price and a tag — Core, Plus or Premium — and BidBook prices three packages from the one bid: Good (the essentials), Better (Good + the Plus extras — the one most customers pick), and Best (everything). Discount and tax are worked out per package, in whole cents, as you type. The bid builder that writes the first draft runs right on this device — it reads your description, matches the kind of job, scales quantities to the sizes you mention, and starts from typical prices. Those prices are a starting point, never a promise: edit any cell, and if you've saved your usual setup with your own items, the builder prices matching lines at your rates first.
When the bid is ready, tap Make the customer link and send it however you already talk to the customer. The link opens a clean page with your packages — they pick one, tap Approve, and the yes comes back to you as a text or email to the number or address in your usual setup. Saved a payment link and a deposit %? Their page shows the deposit due and a Pay deposit button that opens your link — BidBook never handles the money itself.
Every bid carries a Valid until date that prints on the bid. Saved bids are your chase board: each carries a status — Draft, Sent, Accepted, Declined (past its date, a Draft or Sent bid shows Expired on its own) — a Copy follow-up button that writes the check-in message for you, and, once accepted, a Make invoice button that writes the invoice for the package they picked, deposit and balance split out. The board also keeps your score: sent, approved, and dollars won. Saved bids live on this device only, in this browser — nothing is uploaded, and no account is needed to use any of it.
